Lake of the Ozarks Shopping -- Continue
There’s nothing quite like shopping in the Lake of the Ozarks. It’s such a popular activity that it’s actually become its own attraction. What’s more intriguing, you won’t find anyplace anywhere else in America where you can get such incredible fare at such bargain prices. The Factory Outlet Village located on Osage Beach has been heralded as the largest outlet center in Missouri. You’ll be able to find designer clothes at prices that just don’t seem to make any good sense --they’re so low that you’d swear you were shopping at a flea market. There are quite a number of stores specific to designer products --Etienne Aigner, Nautica, Brooks Brothers, and much more.
If you’re more interested in that rush and tumble feeling of being in a flea market, you’re more than in luck. The Lake of the Ozarks has a plethora of antique and flea markets sprinkled throughout the Lake. No matter what you’re interested in finding from the past, you’ll be sure to find it in the Lake of the Ozarks.
If you’re more interested in commercial malls, the Lake has that in droves. The Bagnell Dam Strip is an historic place that both locals and tourists adore. Known colloquially as “The Strip”, this stretch of shops has everything anybody visiting the Lake could possibly want: tourist shops carrying the customary tourist fodder (souvenirs, T-shirts, etc.), a range of restaurants, arcades, and even shops that sell some off the wall amusement items.
No matter what you’re interested in, antiques or upscale designer labels, the Lake of the Ozarks has just what you need. You don’t have to look far to find the kind of fare that would make any other major city jealous. Just look around the corner at The Strip or the Factory Outlet Village and you’ll find everything you could possibly want and much, much more. Just remember to pack some comfortable shoes. You’re sure to be shopping for hours and hours on end.
