Hot summer nights warm up the strip with a brand new attraction at the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. This is the forth year for the Hot Summer Nights event and it attracts visitors, motorcycle riders and classic car owners coming from through the country. This past year, the car display featured participants and visitors coming from twelve states. People visiting Hot Summer Nights are going to have an up close and personal look at over 90 motorcycles and nearly 500 cars every night of the event. As reported by the organizers, whenever the cars and motorcycles line up from end-to-end inside the middle of the Strip, they extend for more than a mile from the Dam to the Boulevard.

Coordinators hope to meet or exceed last year’s numbers and want to motivate show car owners, classic car owners and motorcycle owners of every kind to come out and be a part of the show on the Strip. Children are going to have a wonderful time at Hot Summer Nights as well, and may get a kick out of attractions including clowns, face painting and the artist that sketches unique cartoon portraits of any child that is under 10 years old. Hot Summer Nights even features contests, giveaways, live radio remotes and a lot of vendors to see and plenty of great food and family fun. There is also a local Disc-jockey who will be around to crank out the the tunes through his enormous sound system. Guests and visitors can also tune in their radios to 98.3 FM and listen to all of the music. During this time raffle tickets to win a Hot Rod BBQ grill are going to be offered by as well. The winner of this raffle gets a BBQ grill that looks just like an engine block of one of the hot rods.
