Each and every year the official Lake Ozark Christmas parade takes place early in December. This year is the 27th year in a row that it has been put on and as usual it is expected to be a fun and exciting holiday event for the entire family. The parade will run along Bagnell Dam Boulevard starting at Al Elam real estate and ending at the dam itself. This means that there is plenty of space to see the parade so you’re sure to get a front row seat to see all of the fun parade festivities.

Of course no Christmas parade would be complete with an appearance from Santa Clause who will finish out the parade as it traditional with so many Christmas parades around the country. The Lake Ozark annual Christmas parade is a fun and friendly event for the entire family so make sure to check it out this Christmas season, it is one of the best events in the entire lake community so you definitely do not want to miss it. Bring some hot chocolate though because it may be a little bit chilly for this parade as it starts to get dark towards the end of the event.

The Lake Area Orchestra is a well known and very active orchestral group that is made up entirely of men and women from communities around the lake area. During the holiday season they perform multiple times at multiple venues around the area and this is one such event. At the West Lake Community Church the Lake Area Orchestra will perform their free Christmas program for the public started at 7pm and if you love orchestras then this event is for you.

Come to the orchestra performance to see a variety of traditional and more modern Christmas songs, all performed by a large orchestra of local talents. The show is always an incredible event and your family is sure to enjoy the fun and exciting Christmas music being performed. The West lake Community Church is located just north of Laurie so it is not far from anywhere, but if you can’t make it there are always other locations the group performs at as well. This fun filled night of dancing is a holiday get-together that kids of all ages can enjoy. Children as old a 100 years will have no problem getting into the holiday spirit thanks to the incredible Christmas music being played by the Lake Community Jazz Band that might just take them back to when they really were children. Obviously being a Jazz band the music being played is not going to be exactly like you’re used to, it will have a little more swing so you just cannot resist the urge to dance along with the party all night long.

Dancing really is the central focus of this Christmas event, so make sure you’re ready to have some fun. Christmas on the Square is a community wide event which features dozens of events and activities ranging from crafts to games so kids and adults are sure to have plenty of fun. Christmas on the Square is also one of the largest fundraising events this time of year as it helps benefit the Lamb House charity which donates to thousands of local families each and every year. Supper With Santa is not just a chance for families to get together and enjoy the holidays but it is also a great way for some local charities to raise some money and toy donations that are needed so badly this time of year to give to families in desperate need of some Christmas joy.
